We’re proud to be the official lender for Spartanburg County businesses!  Businesses that qualify for our loan program will meet the following criteria:

  • Your business is in Spartanburg County

  • You have completed the Power Up intake form

  • You are a current business with two most recent years’ tax returns for business & personal

  • Are not currently in bankruptcy or otherwise insolvent

  • Can prove an ability and desire to repay a loan

Because we are a financial cooperative, a Carolina Foothills business membership is required for this loan and can be completed at the same time as the loan application.  Here’s what you will need:

Sole Proprietorship (if DBA, some items not applicable)

  • Personal, unexpired identification card with photo for all authorized users

  • Business License

  • Certification of Tax Identification Number

  • Assumed Name Certificate/Filling if applicable

Limited Liability Company (LLC), S-Corp, C-Corp

  • Personal, unexpired identification card with photo

  • Tax Identification Number

  • Business License if applicable

  • Articles of Incorporation

  • Corporate Resolution Naming all Authorized Users

  • Operating Agreement if applicable

  • Assumed Name Certificate/Filling if applicable

Limited Partnerships

  • Personal, unexpired identification card with photo for all authorized users

  • Business License

  • Certification of Tax Identification Number

  • Assumed Name Certificate/Filling if applicable

  • Limited Partnership Agreement with all amendments

  • Certificate of Good Standing from Secretary of State or Verification

General Partnership

  • Personal, unexpired identification card with photo for all authorized users

  • Business License

  • Certification of Tax Identification Number

  • Limited Partnership Agreement with all Amendments
